TURKEY:

Day 1 – Arrive in Kayseri and transfer to the hotel in Urgup Cappadocia   and stay overnight

Day 2 – drive approximately 3-4hrs from Urgup to the nomad village of Delimahmutiar and trek 2hrs to camp at Kapuzbasi (1,700m -1,800m)

Day 3 – Leave the valley of Kapuzbasi, trek through a Aydos canyon for 5-6 hrs to a camp near by at 1,700m

Day 4 – Trek through Kizilbuzluk canyon and climb approximately 1,000m to the Tersakan Plateau and camp at Tersakan (2,850m), 7-8 hrs

Day 5 – Trek from the camp of Tersakan Plateau.  to the Summit of Kucuk Aydos, climbing 600m (3,380m), then return to camp (2,850m), 5-6hrs

Day 6 – Trek across the Yazigol Plateau, following the route of Mediterranean nomads and climb to approximately 350m to the summit of Alagol. Continue on to the camp at Alagol (2,900m), 6-7hrs.

Day 7 – Climb approximately 500m to the summit of Geyik Tepesi. Descend through valleys to the camp near Karagol (2,450m), 5-6hrs

Day 8 – Trek from this camp to climb approximately 1,100m to the summit of Medetsiz at 3,586m. Then return to camp at Karagol (2,450m), 7-8hrs
Day 9 – Descend to the village of Maden at 1,400m (3-4hrs), then continue down to the camp near Balik Cifligi at 1,300m, 4-5hrs
Day 10 – Drive from camp to the village of Ihlara (2-3hrs). Lunch in a local restaurant (not included). Tour of a near by canyon that starts at Ihlara and extends for 14 ks to Selime. In this canyon there are many shelters, tombs and churches, some linked by underground tunnels.  Continue to the hotel at Urgup. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 11 – Full day tour to the valley of Soganli where there are innumerable frescoed churches, houses and rock tombs. The early Chrisitians came here to flee Roman persecution and hide in the monastery complex of Keslik.  Return to the hotel at Urgup. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 13 – Drive to Golgoli (1,500m) to visit historical ruins at Mt Golgoli. Then trek for approximately 3hrs through the Aravan Canyon. Total tour time 5-6hrs. Return to hotel at Urgup. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 14 – Full day tour to the Devrent Valley to see conical rock formations known as fairy chimneys. Then to the valley of the monks (Pasabag) and the Red Valley (Kizilvadi). Along the way there is a visit to 9th century Uzumlu Church and the Citadel of Uchisar to admire the surrounding valleys. Return to the hotel at Urgup. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 15 – Transfer to Kayseri or Tuzköy and fly to ............
